OPP investigating death after weekend 'disturbance' call near Kenilworth
WELLINGTON NORTH – Police say they are investigating a death here on the weekend.
Wellington County OPP officials say police officer responded to a property on Concession 7, near Kenilworth, on Nov. 26 at about 10:15pm.
"It was reported that there was a disturbance at a residence at that location," states a Nov. 28 press release.
"A large police presence was in the area and a local road was closed until approximately 9am.
"A person in their 40s was pronounced deceased at scene and the Office of the Chief Coroner is investigating."
Police added they consider this an "isolated" incident.
