OPP investigating after driver sustains ‘life-altering injuries’ in crash

PUSLINCH – The OPP is investigating a serious collision here that left one driver with what police officials are calling “life-altering injuries.”

Wellington County OPP officials say emergency crews responded to a crash between a white sedan and a “semi-truck” on Concession 7 in Puslinch on Jan. 12 at about 7:30am.

Police say the driver of the sedan was “seriously injured” but the driver of the truck was not hurt.

“A 34-year-old driver from Guelph was transported to a trauma centre with life-altering injuries,” police stated in a press release issued at 3:30pm, eight hours after the crash.

“The cause of the collision is being investigated. The roadway was closed for several hours but is now open.”
