Ontario Miss Mid West to be crowned July 14
The Ontario Miss Mid West and Princess Pageant will be held in Mildmay on July 14.
The pageant will be held at Knights of Columbus Hall (1658 Highway 9, Mildmay), with doors opening at 6:30pm and the pageant starting at 7pm.
There are over 20 girls competing, representing Wellington, Huron, Perth, Grey and Bruce counties.
The theme for this years pageant is “SHHH it’s Christmas.”
The Jordan Lynn Fawcett Memorial Award will be presented to one of the princess contestants. Jordan Lynn Fawcett was the 2007-08 Ontario Little Miss Princess but passed away Nov. 2, 2010.
The pageant is honouring her with the 7th annual award.
The 2017-18 Ontario Miss Mid West Queen Allyson Iles and the 2017-18 Ontario Little Miss Princess Megan Macdonald will be handing their titles down to the 2018-19 winners. Iles will also present a donation to the Victorian Order of Nurses.
