Ontario is helping Guelph seniors stay connected to the community through the Seniors Community Grant Program, the province’s first grant program dedicated solely to seniors.
The program is supporting three local projects with an investment of $30,000 to help seniors stay involved in their communities by encouraging greater social inclusion, volunteerism and community engagement.
The local projects are:
– Guelph Wellington Seniors Association for its Marketing and Communication Plan;
– The City of Guelph for “Age-Ready Guelph”; and
– Immigrant Services Guelph Wellington for the MobileCONNECT computer club.
