OLG slots at the Grand River Raceway in Elora is one of three OLG facilities to recently earn RG Check (responsible gaming) accreditation through the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation’s (OLG) Responsible Gambling (RG) program.

The other sites include slots at the Clinton Raceway and Flamboro Downs

These sites join OLG’s 13  other RG Check accredited facilities throughout Ontario. In addition, Caesars Windsor was the first casino resort property in the world to achieve this accreditation.

“Earning RG Check accreditation is an important acknowledgement of our employees and their ability to inform players and address a wide range of customer needs,” said Tom Marinelli, acting president and CEO, OLG.  Administered by the Responsible Gambling Council (RGC), the RG Check accreditation program is based on an RG Index comprising a set of RGC standards. Informed by international best practices, this index evaluates eight core standards: corporate policies, self-exclusion, advertising and promotion, informed decision making, assisting patrons who may have problems with gambling, access to money, venue and game features, and employee training.
