OLG event to aid Centre Wellington Food Bank
Patrons at OLG Slots at Grand River Raceway can help stock the shelves of the local Centre Wellington Food Bank this December and at the same time have a chance to win $500.
The slots destination will be supporting the food bank with its “holiday cash” promotion taking place at the site from Dec. 1 to 12.
Winner’s Circle Rewards members will receive an extra ballot for the nightly $500 holiday cash draw when they bring a non-perishable food item donation on any visit to the gaming site during the promotion.
All items received during the promotion will be donated to the food bank.
“We are so happy to add this community element to our popular holiday cash promotion,” said Charlotte Hodgson, general manager of OLG Slots at Grand River Raceway.
“Many people find themselves in need during the holiday season and making a canned good donation is a great way for Winner’s Circle Rewards members to help a local charity while having an extra chance to win one of twelve draws for $500.”
The holiday cash promotion is open to Winner’s Circle Rewards members only, though anyone 19 years of age or older wishing to make a donation in support of the food bank may also bring non-perishable items to the location.
The OLG Slots at Grand River Raceway are located at 7445 Wellington Road 21, in Elora.
