It’s time for the Not So Grand Players to roll up their sleeves and get set to bring more music and laughter to the Fergus Grand Theatre stage … and officials say that’s exactly what they intend to do.
Plans are in motion, with Terry Wilson as director, to present Oldies but Goodies, a musical-comedy full of 50s and 60s music as well as good ol’ country-western from the same era.
Although this show is not on stage until the middle of June, music auditions with Florence Arkell are being held March 24 and 27 at 7pm at Heritage River Retirement Home, at 25 Wellington Drive in Elora.
Guests are asked to use the back parking lot and auditorium door.
There will be solos and duets as well as group harmony. If interested in auditioning for a singing role, come prepared with music (CD’s, etc.).
For those who enjoy being on stage but are unsure of their singing talent, “come anyway and let us be the judge.”
Most of the songs are group numbers.
As always, all profits from this show will go back into the community. For more information or questions call Connie Dickinson at 519-846-9950.
