Norwell Dairy employees walk to fight cancer
DRAYTON – Sporting bright white T-shirts, a determined group of 55 Norwell Dairy employees and their families completed a 4km walk around Drayton on Aug. 17 to raise funds to fight cancer. The event aimed to show support to four Norwell Dairy families presently dealing with cancer. Walkers from the company’s Drayton and Woodstock locations raised $7,310 and Norwell has matched the amount, bringing total funds raised for cancer research to $14,620. Organizer Dave Clark said he is happy with the results.
