Norris, Lorne Lavalle

Lorne Lavalle Norris; March 24, 1928 - June 27, 2014. Passed away peacefully on June 27, 2014 at Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus. Lorne is survived by his wife of 66 years, Eula (Whitelaw), his daughters, Bonnie (Bill) Werner, Brenda (Rocco) Furfaro, and Kathy Norris (Doug Henry), his grandchildren, Julie, Adam, Sean, Glen, Lauren, and Daniel, as well as his six great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, Elroy and Nina (Trask) Norris and many siblings. Remembered by his remaining siblings and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A visitation/reception was held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Graham Giddy Funeral Home, Elora, Ontario on Wednesday, July 2, 2014. Cremation and a private graveside service took place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Elora United Church or Groves Memorial Community Hospital.
