New Year's dance for youth in Minto
A youth new year dance on Jan. 6 will be the first event hosted by the recently-formed Minto Youth Action Council (MYAC).
The dance, featuring music by disc jockey Darrin English, is open to youths aged 12 to 16. The event will run from 7 to 10pm at the Harriston Minto Community Centre. Admission is by donation of non-perishable items for the local food bank.
MYAC is a youth initiative made up of local youth volunteers aged 14 to 24.
