New race for Centre Wellington mayor's job
In Centre Wellington there will be a two-way race for mayor.
On Aug. 26 incumbent councillor Kelly Linton filed papers seeking the mayor’s job over incumbent Mayor Joanne Ross-Zuj.
Part of his website campaign states, “I am convinced that we need a change in leadership so that this community can pursue its potential.”
Unless others file for Centre Wellington councillor, the remaining six wards could be acclaimed positions.
The nomination deadline is Sept. 12 at 2pm.
