New plaque celebrates Arthur's 150th anniversary
Unveiling - A plaque celebrating Arthur’s 150th anniversary will be unveiled in front of the Arthur Chamber office, 146 George Street, on July 2 at 2pm.
In 1972 at Arthur’s 100th anniversary celebration the Town of Fergus presented the Town of Arthur with a plaque that is installed in the wall at the Arthur Chamber building. On July 2 Centre Wellington Mayor Kelly Linton will be unveiling another plaque to recognize Arthur’s 150th celebration.
