New nursing services available

WELLINGTON COUNTY – A mother-daughter duo has come together to create a business based on helping families and supporting loved ones in their homes.

Heart to Home Nursing Services provides the communities of Wellington and Brockton with private care focusing on palliative and pediatric nursing.

Sherry Mcrobb is an RPN in Wellington County with 15 years of experience in long-term care.

Jenna Lee Lethbridge is an RPN with five years experience who currently works with children in the community of Brockton and in the local hospital.

The services they offer include palliative care, personal support, pediatric and respite care. The focus of their business is to prevent caregiver burnout which can be detrimental to the connection between a caregiver and their loved ones.

“Heart to Home brings the heart to your home, with compassionate care focused on a family centered approach,” Lethbridge stated in an email.

“We focus on health teaching about compassion fatigue and developing a care plan that allows caregivers time for self-care.”

Services are based on needs with casual availability for weeknights and weekends. Starting in July, there will be increased availability during the day.

“We are here to help,” said Lethbridge.
