New look for Wellington North website
Those checking out Wellington North’s website in the next few months may see a very different website.
Late last month, councillors here picked RKD Web Studios Inc. of Guelph, to redesign Wellington North’s web presence.
Clerk Lori Heinbuch stated making a recommendation was quite a lengthy process.
The township recieved 14 proposals; 10 from Canada and four from the United States.
Costs ranged between $14,335 and $55,000.
She said the proposal needed to provide easy access to township services, be adaptable and allow staff to easily change and update the content.
“Are you happy with what you saw?” asked councillor Dan Yake.
“This company seems to meet our needs.”
She noted the firm has its own server to host the township website.
RKD Web Studios also designed the township of Erin and Puslinch websites.
Council made its decision without further discussion.
