New licensed entertainment tent featured at Erin Fair

ERIN – In a bid to attract more visitors and boost revenue, the Erin Fall Fair will feature a large entertainment tent this year, including a beer area that will serve customers in the evening.

Festival Gardens is a unique family-friendly musical venue, providing outdoor entertainment with performers from around Ontario. Accommodating up to 1,000 people, there’s plenty of room, an outside patio and food vendors.

Musical events run all weekend long under the big top. Headliners are The Campfire Poets (pop hits), The Practically Hip (Tragically Hip tribute) and The Wanted (high-energy roots), with appearances by country singer Manny Blu. Rhythmfoot (stepdancing) is in the Exhibits Hall Saturday at 7pm.

The fair action starts Oct. 10 with the Lawn and Garden Tractor Pull at 5:30pm. The demolition derby is at 6:30pm Sunday, with fireworks during the intermission.
