HARRISTON – A $1,000 signage grant has been approved by Minto council at a May 7 meeting.

The recipient, Eh-2-Zed, is a home and lifestyle retail shop, selling Canadian-made products.

The business started online before moving last fall into where Try-It Retail used to be on Elora Street in downtown Harriston.

The money will be used to reskin an existing awning in a blue, non-illuminated vinyl fabric, with a scalloped valance.

That marks the fourth approved grant application this year, leaving $46,848 remaining in this year’s budget for future grant applications.
