New Feb. 28 deadline for grants
The community conservation grant application deadline for 2014 is Feb. 28.
The Grand River Conservation Foundation (GRCF) is awarding grants of up to $1,000 to qualified community groups and up to $750 to elementary schools. The grants are for tangible conservation projects in communities throughout the Grand River watershed. Eligible projects must be available for the use or benefit of the entire community to receive grants.
Grant recipients will be notified in the spring. A final report may be requested of grant recipients within one year, or upon the successful completion of the project.
