New equipment coming to Maple Park
Additional playground equipment will soon be coming to Maple Park in Belwood.
Centre Wellington council approved the tender from Playpower LT Canada Inc. of Paris at a price of $44,938.
It’s expected the total cost will be about $53,400 with some $8,400 raised locally by the Belwood Kids in Motion committee for landscaping that will take place.
The tendered work will included the design, supply and installation of additional equipment for the park for children from 18 months to 12 years and will be fully accessible.
Council approved the tender at the July 2 meeting.
