New director for sanctuary
Katharin Harkins will be retiring on Aug. 15 from her role as executive Director of the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada in Puslinch.
Lesley Bayne will be taking her place.
“She is a great person to lead the Sanctuary into the future,” said Harkins.
“On behalf of all the animals and people here, thank you everyone for all you’ve given us, your interest and enthusiasm, and commitment to area causes,” she said.
