The Board of Directors of the Waterloo Wellington Community Care Access Centre (WWCCAC) is pleased to announce that Dale Clement has been named Chief Executive Officer.

“Clement has considerable expertise in healthcare management and works effectively to develop lasting relationships in the healthcare sector,” says WWCCAC board of directors chair Brian Cowan.

“She has a clear focus on how best to meet the healthcare needs of patients and families in the community.”

Clement is currently Chief Operating Officer and Clinical Integration Lead at Halton Healthcare Services in Oakville. She has more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare sector.

Clement has a proven track record of building strong relationships and partnerships with stakeholders. She is a champion of change and transitional management and was a leader in the initial development of the Home First philosophy.

“I am honoured by the opportunity extended to me and am excited about the future possibilities,” says Clement. “WWCCAC is well positioned to embrace new opportunities in this time of health system transformation. I look forward to working with the CCAC team, patients and community stakeholders.” Clement is expected to join the CCAC on Jan. 26. Barry Monaghan will continue as interim CEO through the transition.
