New board of health for 2011
As the 2011 Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Board of Health held its inaugural meeting on Jan. 5, Amanda Rayburn was elected chair, Doug Auld elected vice chair and Keith Perron was elected secretary-treasurer.
The 2011 Board of Health includes the following members:
Provincial appointees are Doug Auld, Diane Lindsey, Keith Perron and Amanda Rayburn.
Elected representatives from the local municipalities: John Green, Wellington County councillor; Joanne Ross-Zuj, Township of Centre Wellington; Chris White, 2011 Wellington County warden; Paul Mills, Mulmer Township; Allen Taylor, East Garafraxa Township; Lise Burcher, Guelph; Karl Wettstein, Guelph; and, Ex-officio member of the Board, Dr. Nicola Mercer, Medical Officer of Health and CEO.
The Board of Health meets the first Wednesday of every month in the Fergus office of WDG Public Health.
