Nestlé Waters Canada employees were involved in a spring clean-up along Wellington Road 34 as part of the company’s Adopt-A-Road program participation, celebrating Earth Day.

Employees at the Aberfoyle bottling plant cleaned up Wellington Road 34 between Victoria Road and the Wellington-Halton county line, as well as Wellington Road 34 between Brock Road South and Highway 6.

The Adopt-A-Road program is a public service initiative for volunteers to enhance the local litter collection activities of the community where they live by picking up litter along road right-of-ways.

It is a way for environmentally-conscious industries to contribute to cleaner and more beautiful road systems in their community, officials say.
