Nellis, Joan Kathleen; The family of Joan Nellis sadly announces her passing at Guelph General Hospital, on Monday, June 2, 2008, in her 58th year. Joan Kathleen Nellis daughter of the late Vera and John O’Gorman. Dear mother of Todd, Janine and the late Teddy Nellis (1971). Proud and loving grandmother of Richard, Cassandra, Joslyn, Mackenzie and Sebastian. Loving sister of June Peters, George and Judy O’Gorman, Bob O’Gorman, Brenda and Brett Cook and the late Stella Briggs (1977). Also missed by her x-husband and long time friend, Roy Nellis and her very close and dear friends, the Herget family, of Nova Scotia. Friends will be received at the Blue Springs Funeral Home, Acton, on Friday June 6, 2008, for visiting from 1 to 2 p.m. with the funeral service commencing at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
