Need for Speed - and weed
GUELPH - On Dec. 9 at about 1am, a Wellington County OPP officer was monitoring traffic on the Hanlon Expressway here.
Police say the officer observed a silver sedan that appeared to be travelling above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was allegedly clocked on radar at about 135km/h in an 80km/h zone.
Adrian Tyler Tre Young, 22, of Brampton, was charged with racing a motor vehicle and driving with cannabis readily available and is to appear in Guelph court on Jan. 16.
