PALMERSTON – Norwell District Secondary School held a “Soak a Senior/Staff” event to raise money for the Terry Fox Foundation on Sept. 27.

This year Norwell raised $2,187 for the foundation, with $293 from the “soaking” event.

Volunteers stepped up to get soaked based on money donated; $5 allowed students to pour a pitcher of water on a participant, $10 allowed students to dump a medium bucket, $20 allowed students to dump a large bucket of ice water and over $20 paid for an extra large bucket of ice water.
