National horseshoe championships coming in August
The Royal City Ringers, at the Guelph Legion, are hosting The Canadian National Horseshoe Pitching Championships from Aug. 8 to 12.
Officials are expecting more than 200 entries and some of the top pitchers in Canada will be there to try to become the 2017 champion.
Men, ladies, elders, juniors and cadets will take part in their respective classes.
Draws, food and beverages, horseshoe sales and displays will be available.
New players are welcome to join the league, with night play starting on May 16 at 6:40pm.
