Municipalities may get provincial "relief"
Centre Wellington councillor Fred Morris offered a humourous take on comments made at the recent AMO conference in Ottawa.
Listening to Minister of Urban Affairs Steve Clark, Morris said Clark’s message for municipalities, summed up in one word, was “relief.”
“I don’t know if that means we are going to have an endless supply of antacid pills sent to us or whether there is actually going to be some financial relief coming...” he said. “We’ll have to see how that plays out.”
