Municipal election nominations open May 1
BRUCEDALE – Nominations for the 2026 municipal election are set to open May 1.
The township’s election website – getvoting.ca – is being updated regularly, and new information and resources will be posted as they become available.
The province has released the nomination form and the endorsement of nomination form.
The endorsement form is required for candidates running for council and must be signed by 25 eligible electors supporting your nomination.
Staff also noted nomination packages are not yet finalized and the province has indicated that an announcement regarding school boards is forthcoming, and packages will be completed once that information is released.
