Mount Forest project gets top priority
As Wellington North council makes another grant application, another Mount Forest project is slated as top priority for infrastructure work.
On Monday, councillors applied for the Building Canada Fund - Communities Component. The application stated “There is a need to undertake reconstruction of two blocks of Normanby Street, from Durham Street to Wellington Street, to provide an improved outlet configurations for the Durham Street sewage pumping station in Mount Forest.”
The resolution stated the project is the township’s “highest priority for infrastructure renewal.”
