Finalists - The Mount Forest Major Rookie - Tier 1 team competed in the year end WOBA Championship Tournament held in Mitchell. The team got off to a slow start but battled its way back into the final game. In one of the most exciting games of the year, the Mavericks came up one run short, losing to Goderich by a score of 20-19.
