Mount Forest Downtown’s Gold Bikes for Simon campaign held several fundraisers
Gold Bike fundraisers - Several fundraisers were held on Sept. 19 for Mount Forest Downtown’s Gold Bikes for Simon campaign to raise awareness about childhood cancer and funds for six year-old Simon Edgar-Dickert of Mount Forest who is battling brain cancer. Gold Bike fundraisers - Several fundraisers were held on Sept. 19 for Mount Forest Downtown’s Gold Bikes for Simon campaign to raise awareness about childhood cancer and funds for six year-old Simon Edgar-Dickert of Mount Forest who is battling brain cancer. A portion of the funds will also go to Ronald McDonald House Charities.

On Saturday, local resident Palminder Singh raised $1,100 through a 22 kilometre run for the cause.

At the Mount Forest Farmers Market, Magpies Bakery donated half the day’s sales and collected donations raising $275. Bakery owner Maggie Schram’s daughter, Hailey, with the proceeds.
