Mount Forest Christmas Bureau implements changes for 2022
MOUNT FOREST - The Mount Forest Christmas Bureau will be changing its giving format.
This year bureau will be focusing on a toy for each child, and more generous grocery gift cards (while still including a turkey dinner) for each family, organizers state in a Sept. 15 press release.
“Especially since we now have several good places to buy quality used kids’ clothing in town, and many people order clothing online, we feel this is a beneficial change,” organizers note.
The release notes this year applications for Christmas Hampers will be in-person only, with proof of residence and identification required.
Registration for hampers will be at Mount Forest Victory Church on Oct. 22 from 10am to noon, Nov. 4 from 1 to 3pm, and Nov. 8 from 6 to 8pm.
