Mount Forest braces for Goblin Invasion
Businesses here are preparing for a “Goblin Invasion.”
The Mount Forest Chamber of Commerce is planning it’s first annual Main Street “Goblin Invasion” on Oct. 31 from 3:30 to 6pm.
Merchants are being encouraged to decorate windows and dress in Halloween costumes and hand out “tricks, treats or coupons” to costumed youngsters visiting their stores. Merchants are also encouraged to take photographs and send them to the chamber to be posted on the C of C website.
Participants will be given a sign to place in windows to announce they are “goblin ready” and a map showing participating locations will be available for download off the chamber website or at particating lcoations.
