Mother’s Day events planned in Drayton
DRAYTON – The PMD arena is the place to be for early Mother’s Day activities in Mapleton.
The Kinette Club of Drayton is hosting a Mother’s Day market, showcasing local small businesses, handmade makers and other vendors on May 1 from 9am to 2pm.
The event is free to attend, but food bank donations are appreciated.
A Mother’s Day Social hosted by the Mapleton recreation department will also be held at the PMD arena May 1, from 11:30am to 2:30pm.
The event will feature an afternoon of teacup succulent arrangements and lunch, plus live music by Maggie Moore, Mary Lynn Woods and Bria Moore.
Cost to attend the social is $35. Space is limited and pre-registation is required. Register at agrose@mapleton.ca.
