Mother and son create fundraiser for Centre Wellington Food Bank
Food bank fundraiser - Daniele McNamara, right back, and son Colby, right front, came up with an idea to help out the Centre Wellington Food Bank with a sale of baking and other items and collecting food donations on Aug. 15. They did the same in June which netted them 80 pounds of food and $220.. This time, with barbecued hot dogs and more donations from Mona Hjort, Rick Castell, Linda Ross, Brenda Verbakel and Melody Hutton, resulted in $250 raised and 70 pounds of food donated.
