More than 20 vehicles had tires slashed overnight in Mount Forest

MOUNT FOREST – Police are looking for help to identify the person(s) responsible for slashing the tires on 21 vehicles parked overnight on streets and in parking lots here.

Wellington County OPP first received a call at about 1:45am on Oct. 27 from a resident advising the tires on their vehicle had been slashed.

“Officers attended the area and observed approximately 15 other vehicles on Main Street and Wellington Street that had multiple tires slashed,” states a press release from the OPP.

“Police patrolled the area and did not locate any suspects.”

OPP officials say they continue to receive calls regarding vehicles with similar damage.

Police are asking anyone with video surveillance or that may have information regarding these incidents to call OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
