Raising funds - The Moorefield Optimist Club held a successful bottle drop-off event at its Ball Avenue clubhouse on Jan. 8. Optimist Grant Morgan, who was overseeing the drop-off on Saturday afternoon, said the club collected even more donations than its previous drop-off event in November, which also resulted in a substantial number of donations.
