Montgomery, Joyce Mary; on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus, in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Montgomery (2009). Loving mother of Doug (Rosemary), Marilyn (Cyrus 2008) Woods, Barry (Pat) and Carol (George) Thring. Loved by her grandchildren Lindsay Woods (Adam Tucker), Jaci (Chris) Montgomery-Slaby, Cori Montgomery, Adrienne Woods, Brad Montgomery, Shelley Woods, Darcy Thring and Amy Thring. Remembered by her great grandchildren Quinn and Henry Tucker-Woods and Shelby Rose Slaby. Survived by her sisters Marg (Bert) Black, Vernon (Gail) Trask, Shirley (Don) Riddell and sister-in-laws June Trask, Helen Trask, Joan Trask and Joan Smith. Pre-deceased by brothers Raymond, Mervyn, Allan and Lawrence. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive their friends at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home and Chapel, 37 Church Street Elora from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Thursday, March 31st, 2011. A funeral service will be held at the Elora United Church, Friday, April 1st at 11am followed by interment at the Elora Cemetery.
