The Centre Wellington Tyke Mohawk lacrosse team was in Guelph to play the Regals on June 12.

A goal by Nathan Long and three more by Fraser Clark weren’t enough to earn them a win as Guelph took the game with a score of 10-4.

June 13 however, proved to be a lucky day for the Tyke Mohawks. The team was in Owen Sound for the 25th annual Harry Kazarian Tournament.

Ryan McDougall, Griffin Mackie and Keira Healey all scored goals, helped out by three from Brinley Wilson and four from Clark, for a 10-2 victory over host team, the Owen Sound Northstars.

On June 14, the Tykes faced the Cambridge Chiefs. A goal from Wyatt Marsland and two from Joseph Columbus resulted in a tie game.

Later in the day the Halton Hills Bulldogs faced the Mohawks. Wilson and Clark each scored, but Halton Hills answered with four goals for the win.

The third game of the day was against the undefeated Brampton Excelsiors. Owen Hahn, Nicholas Leader and Mackie each scored with Clark scoring twice. Ethan Lawrence minded the net all weekend. Brampton eventually won with a final score of 9-5.
