Minto U11 Leafs and Flames end first game in a tie

So close! – Minto U11 Leafs goalie Jayden Van Soest reacts to the puck hitting the post behind him late in a Nov. 16 game against the Minto U11 Flames in Palmerston. Despite the best efforts of Brody McIntosh (right) and Flames teammates, they were unable to convert on this play and the game ended tied 2-2. This was the first game of the season for the two Minto U11 squads, who are playing in a four-team loop with two other Minto U11 teams – the Oilers and the Canucks – this season.
