Minto Fire respond to storage barn fire with support from other fire departments
Barn fire – Minto firefighters responded to a fire in a storage barn near Palmerston on Wellington Road 123, between 3rd Line and Line 92, on May 1 at around 12:40pm. Listowel and Moorefield firefighters also assisted. The fire was contained to the interior and the building.
“The barn is a storage barn that housed a couple of old cars. There was no one in the building on arrival and there are no injuries,” Minto Fire officials report. Damage is estimated at $50,000, but the cause of the fire is currently unknown.
