Minto considers hospital support
Councillors here will consider supporting Fort Erie’s concerns over hospitals in the province.
Minto Mayor David Anderson said Fort Erie is petitioning the premier to amend the Ombudsman Act to include hospitals.
He had the opportunity to speak to the past mayor of Fort Erie where the hospital is losing its emergency services.
Anderson said the town is asking all municipalities, “and hoping, we are not losing our hospital.
“It’s very important that we support their efforts,” Anderson said.
