“As more information regarding the situation surrounding COVID-19 comes to light, the Town of Minto is taking every precaution to protect all staff and the public,” states an Oct. 16 press release from the town.

The municipal office, located outside Harriston, will close to the public at 5pm on Oct. 16.

On Nov. 2, “the COVID-19 situation will be reassessed and an update provided,” officials say.

The town is encouraging residents to make tax and utility payments through online banking, by mail or by using the drop box at the municipal office.
