Minto Arts Council's silent auction opens Nov. 13
The Minto Arts Council will be holding its annual Christmas silent auction from Nov. 13 to Dec. 14. Opening night will coincide with the Harriston Ladies’ Night.
The auction features a wide variety of items. One-of-a-kind arts and crafts include pottery, original fine art, framed photographs and jewelry, as well as knitted and crocheted articles. There will also be many unique Christmas décor items.
The silent auction will also offer gift certificates, including golf at Pike Lake, car cleaning and oil changes, bed and breakfast accommodations and massages. There are often some quirky treasures as well and it is worthwhile visiting the Gallery to see what is there, arts council officials state.
The gallery is located on the top floor of the Harriston Public Library. Hours are: Nov. 13 Ladies Night 5 to 9pm; Tuesdays 6 to 8pm; Wednesdays 1to 3pm and 6 to 8pm; Thursdays 6-8pm; Fridays 1 to 6 and Saturdays from 11am to 3pm.
