Minto accepting Pitch It applications
The Town of Minto and LaunchIt Minto are once again offering the Pitch It! Minto business plan competition.
The purpose of Pitch It is to encourage small business growth in Minto and to increase awareness of the resources available to businesses in the community, states a press release from the town. The competition is geared towards entrepreneurs wishing to open, purchase, expand or relocate a business within the Town of Minto.
This year, thanks to the support of community sponsors over $15,000 in cash and prizes are up for grabs to the winner and finalists of the competition.
“Winning Pitch It gave me the affirmation from business professionals that I am on the right track to grow my company successfully. It’s not just the money which helped me upgrade to a secondary location; it’s also the opportunity to study business” said Alexandra Cooke, winner of last year’s competition.
