Minto 81’s win inaugural OEHL title
PALMERSTON – The Minto 81’s have captured the inaugural Ontario Elite Hockey League Senior AA championship.
The 81’s competed a four-game sweep of the Tavistock Royals in the series final with a 5-2 win in Tavistock on March 30. Riley Cribbins scored four goals for the Minto side in the final game.
Minto won the first three games of the series by scores of 3-1, 6-5 and 4-3, the latter game an overtime win.
