Minor lacrosse team holds can/bottle drive
Cans for a cause – On June 4 members of the Center Wellington Minor Lacrosse U13 rep team conducted a can and bottle drive in Fergus and Elora. The team collected 1,033 bottles, 7,704 cans and 1,689 beer bottles from the community. The cans and bottles were to be returned on Thursday and the team will be donating all proceeds to Sick Kids Hospital (TeamAddyHill). With a few cash donations also received, the team expects the contribution to be just shy of $1,200. Submitted photo
