Mills, Dr. James H.L. D.V.M., Ph.D. Passed away at Groves Memorial Hospital, in Fergus on May 8th, 2011 at the age of 78. Predeceased by his cherished wife and soulmate Janet (2003). Loving and caring father to Sue (Terry) Hartwig, David (Gwen) Mills, Matthew (Carol) Mills and Claire Sunduk. Grandfather to seven and great-grandfather to one. Jim will always be fondly remembered by many other family and friends. Jim was passionate and proud of his career as Professor Emeritus of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan. He was loved and respected by his faculty and students. Visitation at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South, Fergus, Ontario, on Wednesday, May 11th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 12th at 11am at Barrie Hill United Church, 5702 Wellington Rd. 29, Rockwood, ON. Burial to follow at Johnson Cemetery. A reception will be held in the fellowship hall of the church.
