MILES, Joan July 22, 1917 – March 28, 2016. Joan passed away peacefully at Guelph Hospice at the age of 98. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Edmund James Miles. Loving mother of Peter (Nathalie) Miles. Grandmother of Stephen (Sarah) Miles, Carolyn (Mike) Lucas. Great Grandmother of Keira Miles, Isobel Lucas and Samuel Lucas, Sister of Elsie Thorne. Predeceased by Father James McDougall, Mother Florence Anne Riley, Sister May Blaxley, Grandson Ian Miles. Family extends a warm thank you to the staff at Guelph Hospice, the Bayshore Nurses, Closing the Gap, all the ladies at St. John’s Church, friends and neighhours for all the help and support. Joan will be fondly missed and dearly remembered by family and friends. Memorial Service to be held at St. John’s Church in Rockwood at 2:00 pm Saturday April 16th. Reception to follow.
