Michailow, Alex Leonid; on January 11, 2009 at Guelph General Hospital, after a difficult struggle, with family at his side, in his 88th year. Loving husband to Rosa. Loving father of Alex, Rose and Vera. Will be missed by grandsons Nicholas, Kristofor, Lucas and extended grandchildren Payton and Charity. Special thanks to childrens’ spouses Diane and Peter and to Dr. Chiang, Dr. Rosebush, Jeannie in ER and Chris on the 5th floor for their special care while in hospital, and to Dr. Hosdil for all her care during his life. Cremation has taken place and a family service was held on January 15th. Memorial donations to Sunnybrook Veterans Hospital in his name would be appreciated by the family (www.sunnybrook.ca).
